Civil Design Engineer The Company An established civil engineering consultancy is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team and contribute to a strong pipeline of urban development and infrastructure projects. About the Role As a Civil Design Engineer, you'll work across a broad range of projects that contribute to the planning and delivery of urban and civil infrastructure, including: Residential subdivisions and masterplanned estates, from concept planning through to detailed design Industrial developments, including bulk earthworks, road layouts and stormwater systems Mixed-use developments and emerging precincts requiring coordinated civil design solutions Key infrastructure components such as roads, drainage networks and servicing strategies Civil design support for education, health and community facilities This role offers strong project exposure and the opportunity to build technical capability through hands-on involvement and increasing responsibility. What You'll Do You will be involved in the delivery of civil design services across multiple sectors, including: Preparing detailed civil design outputs for a range of projects Undertaking modelling, analysis and documentation using 12d Model Designing stormwater, road and earthworks solutions in line with engineering standards Producing plans, reports and technical documentation for approvals and construction Working with planners, surveyors, project managers and external stakeholders Ensuring designs comply with relevant authority requirements and project standards Providing design support during construction, including clarifications and site input About You 2-3 years' experience in civil design, ideally within urban development or infrastructure Working knowledge of 12d Model and core civil engineering principles Clear communicator, comfortable working within project teams Proactive, willing to learn and keen to develop technically Detail-focused with a practical, problem-solving approach Why work here Accessible leadership: Directors are hands-on, involved in projects and genuinely invested in mentoring their teams.
