Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Support Officer to join our team. This role supports all service areas to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures, relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, and applicable quality standards and frameworks. Working closely with supervisors, managers, and executive leaders, the Compliance Support Officer plays a key role in promoting continuous quality improvement and supporting safe, high-quality service delivery across the organisation. This position involves administrative, technical, and audit support functions and requires a strong understanding of compliance principles, confidentiality, and best practice standards, particularly in child-safe and aged care environments. In this role, you will: • Support service areas to ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. • Conduct and assist with compliance audits, self-assessments, and monitoring activities under the direction of your supervisor. • Provide administrative, technical, and general support to promote continuous quality improvement in service delivery. • Assist Nominated Supervisors (Early Education Centres and OSHC), Managers, and Executive Managers with quality and compliance matters. • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting in line with governance and compliance requirements. • Support the implementation, monitoring, and review of corrective actions and improvement plans. • Apply the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to promote a strong culture of compliance, accountability, and best practice. Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: • Good knowledge of the operational requirements of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and/or the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. • Experience in a support or administrative role, with exposure to quality, compliance, or governance functions within the early education and/or aged care sector. • The ability to work under general direction and follow established procedures and processes. • A strong commitment to supporting Nominated Supervisors and Senior Managers in meeting their legal and regulatory obligations. • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing and changing priorities and meet deadlines. • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment. • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality. • Strong written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Basic research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support compliance and quality improvement activities. • A willingness to accept feedback and apply it constructively to support personal and organisational improvement. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher. • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
