Facility Manager Aegis Aged Care Banksia Park – Calista About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facility Manager to provide strong, values-led leadership at Aegis Banksia Park. As a key member of the Aegis leadership team, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations and overall performance of this challenging Facility, while being empowered to manage and influence your own business unit with the support of a broader executive and professional services team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead all human resources, clinical excellence, operational performance, and resident experience, ensuring that staff deliver the highest standards of care, compliance, and service delivery are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities In this senior leadership role, you will: Drive excellence across care, therapy, hospitality, and customer service in alignment with Aegis’ vision, mission, and values. Provide strong clinical leadership and governance to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care. Provide strong leadership, direction, support, and coaching of all staff to achieve excellence. Support residents and their families with compassion, professionalism, and responsiveness. Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Aegis policies, and relevant legislation. Manage financial and material resources effectively, including the development and delivery of annual business plans and budgets. Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance and positive workplace culture. Function as a role model, living and promoting Aegis’ values in all aspects of leadership and decision-making. Location – Aegis Banksia Park Located in Calista, surrounded by natural bushland, Aegis Banksia Park offers a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options within an ageing-in-place environment. The facility includes multiple wings named after native flora and provides both high and low care accommodation, including secure dementia care. Banksia Park also delivers the Transition Care Program (TCP), providing short-term residential care for older people preparing to return home or transition to permanent residential care. Essential Requirements Proven management and leadership experience in residential aged care Extensive experience as a Clinical Manager or Facility Manager Comprehensive knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, quality systems, and AN-ACC assessment processes Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting and performance management.
