The project includes significant tunnelling and underground works. ACCIONA delivers sustainable civil and water infrastructure with a focus on safety, engineering excellence and community value. About the Opportunity As a Shift Engineer, you support continuous tunnel excavation by coordinating daily activities, ensuring compliance with engineering, safety and quality procedures, and maintaining accurate records. You work with Supervisors and Project Engineers to plan work fronts, resolve issues, monitor progress and keep shifts running smoothly. The role operates on a 7/4/7/3 roster on a 6-month fixed term contract. Key Accountabilities - Build relationships across site - Lead pre-start, toolbox and handover meetings - Confirm permits, approvals and daily plans - Record plant, labour and material costs - Prepare WMS, ITPs, SWMS and site plans - Inspect work and track progress - Manage procurement and material delivery Required Skills and Competencies - Engineering degree or related field - Strong communication skills - Proven organisation and record management - Construction or tunnelling experience - Ability to manage cost documentation What We Offer You join a team delivering complex civil and water infrastructure.
