Off‑Site Intergenerational Volunteer Role – Create Joy Across Generations This is a special off‑site intergenerational volunteer opportunity , perfect for someone who loves bringing people together and creating meaningful moments across age groups. We’re seeking a volunteer to accompany residents (on our bus with a staff member) to a local Children’s Centre, where they’ll spend time engaging with preschool children — singing, dancing, reading stories, playing games, and sharing gentle moments that light up both the young and the young‑at‑heart. This unique role helps build beautiful connections between generations, offering residents a renewed sense of purpose and delight, while giving children the joy of friendship, storytelling, and warm companionship. A Working with Children Check is required for this position. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.
