Responsibilities include assisting with cost reporting, procurement, client liaison, resource planning, project documentation, QA/QC and general project coordination. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret design drawings and specifications. Experience in concrete works, including formwork, pours and testing requirements, will be considered advantageous. Key Responsibility Areas: Provide project support and assistance through the ownership and delivery of defined projects with best practice, client standards and the agreed outcomes and business benefits. Prepare documentation including project plans, Gantt charts and specifications for minor projects. Assist with the review and interpretation of design drawings and specifications to support project delivery. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. Assist to coordinate all project elements including QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, equipment control, supplies and project management administration. Provide timely and efficient coordination and dissemination of project material and project support by undertaking administrative project tasks including managing and maintaining project briefs, project scheduling, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring of projects. Interact daily with Site Supervisors and Project Manager and other project personnel, providing assistance and technical support Skills/Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ working experience gained within concrete works (including formwork and pours), asset remediation or civil construction. Relevant degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes, being highly desirable; with experience in asset remediation and infrastructure projects, with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc). Ability to work to project deadlines, budgets and team orientated.
