Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to design, plan, organise, and oversee the construction of civil engineering projects. This role involves working across a wide range of infrastructure projects including dams, bridges, pipelines, transportation systems, sewerage schemes, and other major structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical design, site coordination, cost control, and ensuring structural integrity and compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, organise and oversee civil engineering projects such as dams, bridges, pipelines, gas and water supply schemes, sewerage systems, roads, airports and related infrastructure Analyse the behaviour of soil and rock under pressure and design safe and effective structural foundations Analyse the statical properties of structures and test the behaviour and durability of construction materials Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards Draft, interpret and review specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures Organise and direct site labour, delivery of materials, plant and equipment, and coordinate site activities Develop and manage detailed construction programs and schedules Obtain and test soil and rock samples at varying depths to assess strength, compressibility and load-bearing capacity Study architectural and engineering drawings to estimate total project costs Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for budgetary control Monitor design changes, assess cost impacts, and measure, value and negotiate variations Analyse structural systems for static and dynamic loads Design structures to ensure safety against collapse, excessive bending, twisting or vibration Assess current and future travel flow patterns considering population growth and changing needs Design transportation infrastructure including highways, railroads, urban transit systems, air transport facilities and logistics terminals Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods and materials Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience with cost estimation, project monitoring and site coordination Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and relevant documentation via email.
