Attain and maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance of the day surgery’s facilities and for risk management in NSQHSS audits and Quality Management. Build effective partnering relationships with our Clinicians and Anaesthetists Lead and manage the Day Hospital team and create a thriving workplace culture. Coordinate and support the journey of day hospital patients and provide clinical care within the unit With exceptional service, underpinned by compassion and attention to detail, you will directly enhance the experience of patients undertaking procedures related to gynaecological and fertility. Our Day Surgery Team Leader will be sensitive to the needs of patients and team members and will support their wellbeing through timely and considered communication. You will bring the following skills, qualifications and abilities: Experience in a position equivalent to, or more senior than, a clinical leader in a private health facility or a public hospital (minimum 5 years) RN Qualification Demonstrated high level of Perioperative clinical knowledge and skills Experience with accreditation audits Contemporary and broad knowledge of the SA healthcare sector Knowledge of healthcare quality systems, accreditation processes and regulation Application of clinical knowledge and skilled at providing primary nursing care to patients General knowledge of IVF treatment and protocols (ART) Competency to lead, manage, develop and mentor staff A track record of building high performance and engaged teams Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships Ability to have difficult conversations with respect, integrity and open disclosure Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail A strong track record of delivering process and efficiency improvements Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised and ability to meet set objectives and timeframes Competent user of Microsoft Office Skills.
