Due to ongoing operational requirements, they are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day farm operations, livestock management, staff supervision, and production outcomes. This role is critical to maintaining animal welfare standards, production efficiency, and compliance with industry and workplace regulations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage daily operations of a commercial poultry / layer farm Oversee livestock health, welfare, feeding, and production performance Supervise and coordinate farm staff and contractors Implement biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety procedures Monitor production data, stock levels, and operational performance Coordinate maintenance of sheds, equipment, and farm infrastructure Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements Liaise with suppliers, veterinarians, and management as required Skills and Experience Required Proven experience in poultry or intensive livestock farming Demonstrated experience managing farm operations and staff Strong understanding of animal welfare and biosecurity practices Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Sound record-keeping and operational reporting skills Commitment to workplace safety and compliance Desirable Formal qualifications in agriculture or animal production Experience with large-scale commercial poultry or layer operations How to Apply Applicants should submit a resume outlining relevant farming and livestock management experience.
