Experienced / EN - Supported Independent Living House Facilitator Required in Hervey bay Area Job No: JBC1074346 Office: Sunshine Coast Location: Hervey Bay Employment Status: Full-time Experienced Supported Independent Living House Clinical Facilitator Required in Hervey Bay Area Ab Job Purpose The SIL (Supported Independent Living) Facilitator performs an integral role in ensuring the efficient running of the SIL House by co-ordinating customer, staff and Just Better Care services. Main Duties & Principal Accountabilities Provide guidance, education and direction to staff in relation to tasks that require completion during services Oversee general maintenance of house hold facilities Ensure compliance with NDIS and relevant regulations applicable to SIL house Understand customer service needs or preferences, ensuring all relevant information is accessible for team members and service providers. Identify and participate in personal professional development. Ensure compliance with all Just Better Care policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements in relation to management of service delivery. Manage communication with key stakeholders, internally and externally. Apply and uphold principles of equity and anti- ‐ discrimination in the workplace and adhere to organisational and legislative Health, Safety and Environment requirements. Any other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization Selection Criteria Essential · Current Registered Nurse registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) · Evidence of continued professional development in accordance with the AHPRA standards. · NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check · Current Working with Children Check (where required in accordance with state based legislation) · Current First Aid certificate / CPR · Current Australian Drivers Licence · Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred) · Smart phone with internet access · Proof of Working Rights in Australia (i.e. Birth Certificate/Citizenship Certificate/Passport/VISA) · Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (as required in accordance with state based public health orders) · Good written and verbal communication skills · Computer literacy · Experience in the supervision of staff members. · Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles · Excellent people, problem solving, and conflict management skills · Ability to work as part of a Team and maintain good working relationships.
