Your purpose You will provide high-quality, evidence based Positive Behaviour Support services that are person-centred trauma-informed, culturally safe, human-rights focused and committed to improving participants' quality of life! The ideal candidate Tertiary qualification (or currently studying) Psychology / Occupational Therapy / Social Work / Diploma Community Services or have at least 5 years' experience developing/overseeing behaviour supports as outlined in the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework Currently assessed as suitable by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner or above Experience providing services to people with a disability with complex behavioural needs, including conducting functional behaviour assessments, development of comprehensive behaviour support plans and implementation of restrictive processes Commitment to improving the quality of life of people with disability and demonstrated passion to reduce restrictive intervention.
