An international access equipment provider is seeking a capable Yard LF and EWP Operator / Mechanical Trade Assistant at their Archerfield facility. This position focuses on the safe handling, inspection, and preparation of EWPs and boom lifts prior to hire or sale. This is an ideal opportunity for someone confident working around heavy equipment in an open yard environment. The role offers Immediate commencement Ongoing casual to permanent! $38 per hour plus penalties 8:00am starts, 38 hours per week Strong safety culture within a well-established global organisation Key Responsibilities Unload and load EWPs and boom lifts from flatbed trucks Operate access equipment to reposition machines across the yard Maintain exclusion zones during unloading and loading activities Complete delivery checks and process paperwork Conduct inspections, test functions, and identify repair requirements Carry out basic yard maintenance including washdowns, re-stickering, minor repairs and touch-up painting Stage equipment correctly based on readiness for hire or sale Support safe restraint and loading for outgoing deliveries Operate forklifts to move scissor lifts, parts, and materials Keep the yard clean, organised and compliant About You Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools Current LF forklift licence EWP licences (over and/or under 11m) Open driver’s licence Confident and safety-focused when operating machinery in a busy yard Apply Now This is a limited-term opportunity with a highly regarded business known for its resources, safety standards, and team culture.
