Get discounts on private health insurance, gym memberships and travel and so much more Friday Feast and Recharge – Here at Hummingbird house, Every Friday we have our ‘Friday Feast and recharge’ Yummy food and great company Your Role as Registered Nurse You’ll deliver person-centred holistic care to children with life limiting conditions and their families by: Provide holistic client centred nursing care to hospice guests Assess guests needs, develop care plans, and coordinate daily care within interdisciplinary teams Supporting residents in dealing with issues related to the end stage of life Assess and manage symptoms to ensure comfort Educate guests and families on disease process, care options, and support services Maintain accurate guest records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards Provide a high level of nursing care, including administration of medication Work within the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission What We’re Looking For Current AHPRA Nursing Registration Applied knowledge of person centred and family focused nursing Palliative Care and/or pain management experience or qualification Effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and an understanding of the process of death and bereavement Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy. Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
