Confined Space allowance when completing confined space work – 1 unit per hour: $1.07 Ongoing role for the right candidate What you will be required to do: Cleaning submarines and frigates is a specialized industrial work that goes beyond general cleaning. Cleaning inside diesel tanks, ballast tanks, bilges, water tanks , and other confined or restricted areas onboard vessels. Acting as a safety observer (sentry) for workers inside confined spaces, ensuring emergency protocols can be activated immediately. Performing fire watch during or after hot works (welding, grinding) monitoring for sparks or ignition sources and being ready to respond to emergencies.
