Your New Role As the Local Area Marketing Specialist you will support our Discovery Parks network through the development and implementation of tactical marketing plans. The focus is on driving accommodation bookings to achieve park sales and revenue objectives and digital revenue targets. Sitting within and across the broader marketing team (which includes social, content, CRM, digital, and brand), this role works closely with the Regional Operation Managers (ROMs), Revenue Managers, and Park Managers. Act as local brand custodian, managing marketing budgets and developing park-specific and regional strategies to meet revenue targets through data-driven campaigns and industry insights. Build strong cross-functional relationships with Regional Operations, Revenue Teams, Park Managers, and external partners to deliver integrated business solutions and tactical opportunities. Brief, coordinate, and execute multi-channel advertising (traditional and digital), prioritising digital bookings whilst ensuring accurate online park information and targeted data-driven campaigns. Systematically plan and deliver marketing initiatives with a focus on ROI, peak period maximisation, and shoulder season growth; report outcomes effectively to senior stakeholders using AI-enhanced insights. Drive results through strategic prioritisation, rapid testing and adjustment (Aim, Fire, Adjust), leveraging existing assets, and successfully launching new assets aligned with brand positioning. Your Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a Related Field Strong understanding of budgeting and market forecasting Strategic planning and campaign implementation Experience in a generalist marketing role – tourism or retail advantageous Interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationships with staff and management, including personal presentation, communication, social skills, and teamwork Join G'day Group: Disrupt, innovate, and ignite your career!
