About the role Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping critical infrastructure running smoothly? Zinfra is on the hunt for a Gas Service Technician to help maintain and repair our client gas facilities and networks in the ACT / Nowra region – keeping homes and businesses powered safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities include Complete all programmed and corrective maintenance of Zinfra’s client gas facilities and networks Ensure no gas outages due to maintenance and repair techniques and reduce “call backs” or rework on work performed Working in accordance with the code of conduct and safety policies and procedures and report all system and component failures ensuring you are following respective procedures Carry out risk assessments on all work Assist with resourcing during emergency or critical times Provide constructive input regarding issues affecting the team About You The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of gas networks and experience working with a variety of tools and equipment, as well as the following: Experience working within the utilities sector Proactive approach towards safety and excellent safe working practices Flexibility to work reasonable overtime, as required to meet the needs of the business and being on a monthly after-hours callout roster Gas Fitting / Plumbing trade or equivalent (highly desirable) Current Australian drivers licence, White / Blue card, Asbestos and Silica awareness Applications close at 11:59pm on Friday 13th February 2026.
