We are seeking a proactive Facilities Coordinator to support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of Darwin International Airport facilities across airside and landside environments. Reporting to the Head of Facilities – Darwin, this role coordinates reactive and planned maintenance, manages contractors, controls documentation and costs, and provides day-to-day operational support within a regulated, safety-critical environment. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating maintenance activities and managing work orders Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders Reviewing invoices and tracking maintenance expenditure Maintaining accurate records, asset data, and compliance documentation Supporting audits, shutdowns, and planned maintenance activities Assisting with fleet vehicle coordination and compliance Promoting strong safety and risk management practices About you: Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance administration, or operational support Exposure to contractor management and work order systems Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Effective communicator able to work in operational environments Able to obtain clearance to work in regulated environments Experience in airport, aviation, or other high-risk environments will be highly regarded.
