Job Description Senior Infrastructure Engineers Long term Contract role – Federal Govt. Dept. QLD, ACT, VIC - Onsite Australian Citizenship with NV2 Clearance About the Role: A high‑profile Federal Government program is seeking multiple experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineers to support implementing, managing and retiring the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. Key Responsibilities: Manage allocated resources, set work priorities, and oversee workflows to meet timeframes and quality standards. Lead installation projects, providing effective team leadership and stakeholder engagement. Develop and implement ICT systems administration policies, strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Apply technical expertise across hardware, software, and infrastructure relevant to systems administration. Support capability delivery and ICT operations through strong change management and customer service skills. Technical Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience with the design, installation and de-installation of large and/or complex systems. Demonstrated experience in the analysis and reporting of service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability. Demonstrated experience in the creation and/or maintenance of issue resolution/disaster recovery plans and the testing of said plans. Demonstrated experience in problem root cause analysis and the ability to initiate appropriate mitigation/resolution strategies.
