( Whole-of-life lifecycle expertise is central to their model ). As the Advisory team continues to expand nationally, this role has been created to bring dedicated electrical leadership into the Queensland practice , delivering impartial, high-impact advice across complex building systems and performance-critical projects. You’ll step in as the senior electrical specialist — providing expert advice, solving problems, witnessing critical testing, and guiding clients through complex building outcomes. What you’ll be involved in This is front-end and delivery-side engineering, including: Project & Technical Advisory Electrical systems investigations and upgrade advice Design documentation reviews and technical reporting Vendor-independent guidance across system lifecycles Commissioning & Assurance Witnessing commissioning and integrated testing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Commissioning management for critical environments Troubleshooting & Building Performance System fault finding and rectification advice Compliance and maintenance reviews Base building technical support Energy & Optimisation Work Building energy optimisation programs and BMCS tuning Energy efficiency upgrades and modelling Advice on cogeneration, trigeneration, solar PV and alternative supply About You This role is ideal for someone who is: Around 9–10 years’ experience in building services electrical engineering RPEQ (or well on the pathway) Strong in consultancy-based design, but more interested in: Technical delivery Commissioning and site outcomes Advisory-level problem solving Working directly with clients and stakeholders You’ll bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience in building services electrical systems (power, lighting, backup supply etc.) Confidence reviewing drawings, marking up documentation and writing reports Ability to work autonomously and represent the business on-site Exposure to data centres, universities, hospitals or critical infrastructure is highly regarded (but not essential).
