The Opportunity Our client is a newly established Queensland branch of a respected Melbourne & Sydney building services consultancy. The Brisbane team has been carefully rebuilt by two highly regarded Directors (long-time industry leaders), and they’ve brought together a tight-knit group of proven high performers across: Mechanical Electrical Hydraulics They’ve already welcomed a Hydraulic Lead into the business late last year — a plumber by background, now QBCC registered, and ready to build something properly. Now they’re looking for their next Hydraulic Engineer to join the Hydraulic team. What Level Are They Open To? This role is flexible depending on where you’re at: Option 1 – Step Up with Mentoring If you're an Intermediate Hydraulic Engineer working toward RPEQ/QBCC, you could come in as the 2IC and be supported closely into that next level. Option 2 – Run Your Own Projects If you're already confident and self-sufficient hydraulic designer, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own work while collaborating with a strong multidisciplinary team. Either way — you won’t be stuck just “doing drafting in the corner.” The Best Part? The Flexibility Is Real This is not one of those “hybrid but… not really” workplaces. They operate with genuine trust and balance: Team aims to be in-office 2 days per week The rest is fully work-from-home Strong offshore drafting support (15-person team in the Philippines) Engineers here get to focus on design, delivery, clients, and progression Projects & Variety They work across a broad range of building services projects, excluding large defence/major healthcare.
