About the Opportunity As a Senior Landscape Architect at Arcadia, you will drive design excellence and oversee complex projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring every outcome is achieved on time and to budget. You will act as a key liaison for clients, actively sourcing new work and strengthening the firm's profile through professional submissions and high-level project management. This role is essential in supporting our leadership team while projecting a positive, innovative image for Arcadia across all areas of your work. Lead impactful work across a region defined by its beaches, hinterland, and booming urban development. Bring your design leadership to Arcadia’s growing Gold Coast studio and influence projects that balance lifestyle, ecology, and city‑shaping ambition. A glimpse into your day Assist Principals and associates in managing a variety of projects to ensure they meet budget and schedule requirements. Lead and undertake design development to achieve design excellence across all project phases. Oversee general landscape architectural duties, including site inspections, cost planning, and product sourcing. Produce and review high-quality documentation, technical detailing, and specification writing. Support the firm's growth by sourcing new work and preparing professional project submissions. Mentor, train, and develop junior team members while delegating tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Manage project administration, including accurate invoicing support and professional client communication to drive project outcomes. The expertise you’ll bring A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or an equivalent qualification, such as Architecture with horticulture or ecology training. Proven professional experience in landscape architecture or a relevant professional environment. Highly developed technical skills regarding modern design and construction techniques. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow team members within a collaborative environment. Exceptional time management skills to ensure projects run to schedule and strictly in alignment with scope. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, for professional client engagement. Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, MS Office, SketchUp, and hand drawing.
