The Building Team The Building Structures team delivers end-to-end structural design services across commercial, education, healthcare and residential projects . The group is known for its strong local market knowledge and technical depth across concrete, steel, masonry and timber structures . You’ll enjoy exposure to a wide range of clients including private developers, contractors and government agencies , offering genuine project variety and career development. The Role Based in Brisbane, this role sits within a collaborative design team working closely with Principal and Senior Engineers . While the focus is primarily technical, you’ll also gain exposure to project delivery, client engagement and business development , supporting your long-term progression within the business as it grows. Key Responsibilities Preparation of detailed structural calculations for a range of building systems Development and operation of analytical and design models Preparation of technical sketches, reports and documentation Review and coordination of structural designs Liaison and coordination with other project consultants Attendance at internal and external design meetings Site inspections, observation reports and technical support during construction Assisting with project delivery and management tasks Supporting proposals, bids and identification of follow-on work About You Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered (CPEng) or motivated to work towards chartership 4 years’ experience in building structures design Experience liaising directly with clients and stakeholders Strong capability across concept, planning and detailed design phases What’s on Offer Competitive salary: $90,000 – $110,000 Super (negotiable) Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance Strong commitment to professional development and mentoring Access to a global network of technical specialists Employee wellbeing support programs Clear long-term career pathways aligned with the company’s growth plans Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
