Position Summary: As the Senior Associate Finance Consultant, the selected candidate will serve as the functional lead for the financial modules within a complex, global Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O ecosystem. This role is designed for a subject matter expert (SME) who can navigate the intricate financial regulations and localized requirements of the ANZ, regions. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor to Chief Accountants and Controllers, translating high-level financial reporting and compliance needs into robust system configurations. Beyond resolving high-stakes operational issues, this individual will own the "Time-to-Deliver" metrics for financial enhancements, ensuring that the global treasury, tax, and accounting frameworks remain agile and compliant. A mandatory MB-310 certification is required to validate expertise in global financial management. Mandatory Skills: Certification: Maintain an active MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant certification. Regional Compliance: Ensure all configurations meet the specific fiscal and trade requirements of the ANZ territories & Global configuration Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Financial Requirement Engineering & Global Design Strategic Business Partnering: Lead workshops with regional Finance Controllers to capture requirements for General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank Management. Global Template Governance: Drive the "Standardization First" approach, ensuring that regional financial localizations (e.g., LATAM electronic invoicing or EMEA VAT requirements) are integrated without compromising the core global template. Architectural Oversight: Author and review complex Functional Design Documents (FDD) for financial integrations, management reporting, and statutory compliance tools. 2. Operational Issue Resolution & Financial Intigrity L3 Financial Troubleshooting: Resolve critical functional errors in month-end/year-end closing processes, intercompany eliminations, and complex consolidation issues. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate recurring financial discrepancies or data integrity issues to implement permanent system corrections and automated reconciliations. Audit & Compliance Support: Ensure the system maintains a clear audit trail and support the business during internal and external financial audits through efficient data extraction and reporting. 3. Delivery Optimization & Strategy Time-to-Deliver Reduction: Optimize the "Requirement-to-Production" lifecycle through improved functional testing, agile methodology, and streamlined documentation. One Version Readiness: Proactively manage Microsoft's monthly update cycles, assessing the impact of new features on existing FINANCE customizations. Knowledge Transfer: Develop and maintain a global Knowledge Base to empower end-users and junior consultants, promoting "Shift-Left" resolution strategies. Advanced Reporting: Leverage Power BI, Electronic Reporting (ER), and Financial Reporting (MR) to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into global financial health. Qualifications & Certifications (Optional): Core Modules: Core Mastery: 8 years of experience with deep expertise in General Ledger, Consolidation, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets. Integration Expertise: Proven ability to manage integrations with external banking systems (Host-to-Host, MT101/940) and third-party tax engines. Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and multi-currency accounting. Leadership: Exceptional client-handling skills with the ability to manage senior finance stakeholders across diverse cultural backgrounds.
