As a Compliance Coordinator, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our Risk & Assurance team – a trusted partner helping Customer Markets operate safely and efficiently. You’ll assist in maintaining a strong risk management framework, supporting compliance across operations, and contributing to control testing, risk assessments, and reporting. This is an exciting early-career opportunity for someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the ins and outs of compliance, risk management, and internal auditing. You’ll learn from and be mentored by experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and play a meaningful part in helping AGL operate safely, sustainably, and efficiently, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. What You’ll Do Support the maintenance of policies, procedures, and process documentation within Risk & Assurance. Assist with risk assessments, identifying and documenting operational and compliance risks. Support control testing and assurance activities, including report writing and sample reviews. Keep risk, obligations, and control registers accurate and up to date. Track action items and treatment plans to help ensure timely completion. Prepare reports and basic analysis to support decision-making. Help Coordinate risk workshops, forums, and training sessions. Provide general administrative support, including meeting coordination and document preparation. What We’re Looking For Qualifications or experience in risk, compliance, audit, quality or related fields is desirable Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn how to interpret risk trends and recommend effective controls. Interest in understanding business processes and to visualise process flows and anticipate downstream impacts. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to communicate clearly in writing Eagerness to learn about GRC systems and data tools (experience is a bonus, but not essential) A proactive self-starter, with an adaptable approach to work and ready to manage multiple priorities effectively.
