Job Description This role combines hands-on technical expertise with business acumen to ensure our enterprise systems operate reliably, securely, and efficiently. Reporting to the Group Head of IT, you will lead an internal team of four IT professionals while managing critical vendor relationships and driving an automation-first culture. Applying a deep understanding of business processes to design integrations that maintain data integrity and support seamless information flow. In this role you will be responsible for: Enterprise Systems Management: Own the operational stability, performance, and security of enterprise systems including ERP, commerce platforms (Adobe Commerce Cloud), and finance systems. Automation and Engineering: Champion an automation-first culture, identifying opportunities to reduce manual workload through intelligent automation. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four IT professionals (L2/L3 support analysts and systems specialists). Service Delivery and Operations: Oversee daily IT operations including incident management, problem resolution, and change implementation. Retail Technology Support: Ensure robust support for retail store technologies including POS systems, store networks, and in-store devices. Coordinate after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring value delivery and SLA compliance. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain access controls, monitoring, and audit capabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy requirements. Systems Integration and Data Management: Design and implement integrations between enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless information flow. Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Manage system upgrades, patches, and changes with minimal business disruption. Desired Skills and Experience The Ideal candidate will have: 10 years in IT operations and systems management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles managing teams of 3-7 people. Whist being a great technologist, your business focus, charm and customer service skills will set you apart from your peers. You can build and maintain great working relationships even when times get tough. Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise systems, specifically ERP platforms, E-commerce platforms& Finance systems and financial data integrations. Strong understanding of retail business processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, POS operations, and omnichannel commerce. Experience with ITIL processes and service management frameworks in practical application. Have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience and a ITIL Foundation certification (required).
