About the role Carina Workshop is seeking a qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Carina, QLD. This is a Full time position as one of our Automotive Mechanics, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, contributing to the smooth operation of our workshop. What you'll be doing Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and wheel alignments Test and inspect vehicles to identify and address any problems replacing gearboxes, clutches and engines from time to time Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients if needed when Boss away Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards working with 3 other mechanics What we're looking for Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Automotive Mechanic Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and attention to detail looking for someone to help current team and run workshop when I am away if needed but not Necessary What we offer At Carina Workshop, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
