The Company This well known, reputable business located in the Sydney CBD area are needing a strong Payroll Accountant on a temporary basis for a few months initially, to review & assist with their outsourced payroll process. This is a broad and varied role that would be perfect for an experienced Payroll professional. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is closely partnering with the wider Finance team & HR. Your main responsibilities will include: Reviewing the fortnightly outsourced payroll Ownership and completion of payroll balance sheet reconciliations and payroll month end journals. Liaise with multiple business units to prepare and present monthly payroll actual to forecast analysis as well as monthly forecast reports. Manage & maintain payroll tax & compliance procedures. Oversight of overseas payroll and associated tax and other lodgements Your Profile You will be an experienced Payroll Accountant/Analyst OR Senior Payroll Officer who has an excellent understanding of Australian payroll. Key Attributes: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Understanding of month end & P&L Experience with ADP or other large systems Excellent communication skills - written & verbal You will be able to work autonomously and offer solutions to problems.
