Our client is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within, rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets. They are seeking experienced Heavy Maintenance Service Technicians to start asap! Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting on locomotives at their Hamilton North Maintenance facility. Initial training will be provided at our client’s Hamilton North location for a two-week period. Requirements: Australian-recognised trade certificate in Mechanical Full Australian work rights Proven experience in a maintenance environment – ideally in rolling stock. Lathe operation experience (highly regarded) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Quality-focused with a passion for customer service excellence. Desirable (but not essential): Rail and locomotive experience. Forklift license. Overhead crane license.
