SAP Finance Lead - S/4HANA Permanent | Major Transformation Program | S/4HANA We're partnering with our client on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Lead to own and drive the Record-to-Report (RTR) stream end-to-end. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide design decisions, mentor SMEs, and shape best-practice finance processes across the business. You'll play a key part in delivering a modern, scalable finance platform that supports reporting, compliance, and operational excellence. What you'll be doing Lead the RTR workstream across the full SAP Activate lifecycle Run Fit-to-Standard workshops and drive solution design for Finance, Controlling, Treasury and Group Reporting Define organisational structures, master data, and reporting frameworks Mentor Finance SMEs and uplift processes across daily ops, period end and reporting Lead and support data migration (master data open balances) and cutover readiness Integrate SAP with banking, payment gateways and external platforms Establish robust period-end close and statutory reporting processes Act as the bridge between Finance and IT , translating business needs into clear functional design Provide support and troubleshooting during build, test and hypercare Deliver training, documentation and knowledge transfer What you'll bring SAP expertise Strong hands-on configuration across S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, Assets, CCA, PCA, Management Accounting, Margin Analysis, Treasury, Group Reporting) Proven experience leading S/4HANA transformation or implementation programs End-to-end knowledge of RTR processes and finance operations Integration & delivery Experience integrating FICO/Treasury with: Banking interfaces & payment gateways ATO/B2G platforms POS and external AR/AP systems Cross-module knowledge across MM, SD, and PP Data migration and cutover experience Stakeholder skills Confident workshop facilitator Strong business partnering and communication skills Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead small teams Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field CA/CPA (or equivalent experience) Why this role Lead a critical finance stream on a high-impact S/4HANA program Real ownership and decision-making authority Collaborative team environment Visible role with business leaders
