Psyc Spot Psychology Clinic To meet the steady growth in demand for our services, we are in need of another 1-2 Clinical Psychologists or Clinical Psychology Registrars for 2 days per week. There are some movements within our existing team, so the locations/days available cannot be confirmed yet, but we should have a few combinations available. Our practice started in early 2020 and have gradually built a strong reputation and solid referral ties. Our client base is mostly made up of high functioning adults whose struggles can nonetheless be extremely severe and/or peculiar. However, we also have a sizeable portion of clients who have lived rougher lives and otherwise struggle to adapt in this society. Easy-to-use and efficient clinical system with support from reception team. You Will Need Master or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. AHPRA registration and ability to apply for Medicare Provider Number. ABN for contractor / sole-trader work. Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Essential Qualities Warm, personable, open-minded but sensible. Proficiency in more than one modality (applied fluidly and sensibly rather than rigidly). Self-reflective, eager to learn, and strives to improve one’s knowledge and skills. Excellent work ethics, honest, dependable, and capable of working autonomously. Possibility of staying and growing with the practice. Can do 5-6pm appointments at least on some days. Has or willing to have registration with SIRA to see WorkCover and CTP clients. Desirable Qualities Interest in relational, insight-oriented, emotion-focused, and other humanistic/existential therapies. Some experience with complex presentations (eg, personality disorders, psychosis, dissociative conditions). Experience in or willingness to see NDIS self-managed clients. Able to see families, children, and adolescents (15 years old or younger). Able to see couples for relationship work.
