View a full position description on Council website About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager – Transport Infrastructure to lead the planning, delivery, and management of Councils transport infrastructure projects. This management role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable transport systems that support economic growth and community needs. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects. Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and performance outcomes. Oversee multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and safety requirements. Provide technical and strategic advice to senior management and stakeholders. Engage with government agencies, local authorities, and community stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability in infrastructure delivery. About You You are a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and proven experience in transport infrastructure management. You bring excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to deliver complex projects in a dynamic environment. Essential Requirements Degree qualification in a relevant field and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the delivery of infrastructure maintenance and construction. Significant experience managing large-scale transport infrastructure projects. Strong leadership, project management, and financial management skills.
