Join our Home and Community Services (H&CS) team in the role of Community Worker Team Leader. As a Community Worker Team Leader within the Northern/Western Sydney region, your day-to-day role looks like: Providing day to day supervision, direction and management of community workers within the region. Mentoring Community workers by planning, directing and providing feedback from competency assessments/support visits. Working closely with Coordinators and Care Advisors, providing feedback and addressing any service delivery concerns as they arise. Recruiting to meet the service demands of the region and inducting Community Workers and ensuring ongoing post induction support with new Community Workers. Investigating incidents and complaints relating to Community Worker performance • Planning and managing leave requests from Community Workers. Assisting with management of Return-to-Work plans and completing workers compensation paperwork as required. Ensuring Community Workers are provided with regular feedback, kept engaged and positive behavior is recognized. Liaising with Roster Team to ensure Community Worker availability is maximized to meet clients' needs and minimize brokerage costs. You will be well supported by an experienced team. Some travel for training/meetings may be necessary. You will be confident using MS Office, be flexible, adaptable and someone who embraces change. To be successful in this role you’ll need Demonstrated experience in a supervisory position and some experience in managing performance- Essential.
