Job Description We are seeking an immediate-start, freelance Senior Performance Media Manager (or Senior Conversion Media Manager) to join our dynamic Experience Strategy team. This is a freelance opportunity for a results-driven, strategic performance specialist who will be responsible for the creation, optimisation and management of high-performance media campaigns across Google Ads, Search and YouTube to drive customer awareness, engagement and conversion. You will work cross-functionally with creative, analytics and product teams, as well as directly with clients, to optimise digital campaigns and deliver measurable growth across key performance channels. The ideal candidate is a highly data-driven marketer with strong experience in performance media, reporting and insights, and a deep understanding of the end-to-end customer journey. Must have ability and experience to: Own and optimise high-performance Search & Google advertising (Google Ads, Paid Search, YouTube), driving measurable growth across awareness, conversion and efficiency KPIs through continuous testing, bidding, and budget optimisation. Lead data-driven performance strategy and optimisation , using deep expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics and attribution to translate insights into actionable improvements and clear performance reporting for clients and stakeholders. Act as a senior performance specialist and client partner , collaborating with creative, analytics and product teams to ensure search-led media strategies align to the full customer journey and deliver sustained commercial impact. Overall responsibilities: Media strategy and execution: Develop and execute performance media strategies across digital channels (e.g., Paid Search, Display, Programmatic, Social Media, Affiliate Marketing) to deliver against business KPIs, including awareness and conversion, cost per acquisition, and customer retention. Audience Targeting & Segmentation: Develop detailed audience segmentation strategies to drive personalised marketing efforts. Use data-driven insights to tailor campaigns that speak directly to the needs and behaviours of target customer segments. Campaign Optimisation: Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns for performance, adjusting targeting, bidding strategies, creatives, and budget allocation to ensure that goals are met or exceeded. Analytics & Reporting: Analyse campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads etc.), providing detailed reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership. Identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and optimisation levers. Client and Stakeholder Presentations: You will have demonstrated experience in presenting insights and recommendations to clients and key stakeholders, effectively guiding them through the process. Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, performance media, and implement best practices to continuously improve campaigns whilst taking into consideration client needs and regulatory environments.
