Responsibilities quired of field of study locating and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems across engines, drivetrains and vehicle systems using systematic diagnostic methods stripping down engines, gearboxes, steering units and associated assemblies to assess wear, damage and serviceability restoring vehicle functionality by repairing or fitting replacement components, then rebuilding assemblies in accordance with manufacturer guidelines delivering routine and logbook servicing, including fluid replacements, lubrication schedules and engine adjustments, to maintain reliability and meet emissions requirements refitting engines and mechanical systems after repair work, ensuring correct alignment, torque settings and operational safety conducting post-repair checks by testing, fine-tuning and adjusting components to confirm performance standards are met utilising computer-based diagnostic equipment to analyse faults and verify repair outcomes carrying out vehicle safety inspections, issuing roadworthiness approvals where applicable, or outlining rectification work needed for compliance attending vehicle breakdowns and providing practical, on-site repair or recovery support Qualifications & Experience Required: Minimum of Certificate IV in relevant field of study Minimum 1-year of prior experience.
