The role requires experience in structural concrete works, precision formwork, and a solid understanding of Australian building standards. Duties and Responsibilities : Setting out, constructing, and dismantling formwork for footings, slabs, columns, walls, and suspended slabs Interpreting engineering drawings when required, formwork plans, and structural specifications Installing formwork systems (traditional and proprietary systems) accurately and efficiently Ensuring correct alignment, levels, and dimensions prior to concrete pours Installing reinforcement supports and penetrations in coordination with steel fixers Assisting with concrete pours and ensuring formwork integrity during placement Carrying out formwork modifications and adjustments as required on-site Ensuring all formwork meets Australian Standards, building codes, and safety requirements Operating hand and power tools safely and competently Identifying and rectifying on-site issues related to formwork and structural carpentry Coordinating with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised worksite at all times Minimum requirements : Recognised trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent Minimum of 3 years' experience in formwork and structural carpentry Strong knowledge of concrete formwork systems and construction methods Ability to read and interpret engineering and formwork drawings Understanding of Australian Standards and workplace safety requirements High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team White Card (Construction Induction) In joining us, you'll benefit from : Competitive salary package Ongoing, stable employment on high-quality residential projects Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to work on high-quality builds with an experienced team Apply now through our online application form.
