Senior Project Manager - Software project $1008 per day including super 18 months contract Sydney/hybrid Manage a project to deliver a new system function which includes enhancement of an existing bespoke application, the configuration, integration and delivery of a front-end portal using Salesforce and multiple integrations. Note that the focus of this role is on business processes and business systems (applications), not IT infrastructure. Responsibilities Manage the project end-to-end throughout the project phases. Managing the scope to meet the baselined requirements and initiating change processes when required. Manage software development activities across 2 teams (1 x internal and 1 x external vendor team) operating in a Hybrid Agile environment. Manage user acceptance testing and non-functional (performance, security, disaster recovery) for the candidate nomination system. Manage service transition of IT and business processes into operations. Develop and then manage the project controls including establishing clear work, schedule and resourcing requirements, managing performance (schedule, risks and issues, budget reporting, change control) and stakeholder and supplier communication. Management of multiple dependencies. Manage the identified supplier contractual arrangements including contractual payment Establish testing controls and supporting environments to ensure the required quality prior to service transition into operations, involving extensive engagement and management of internal stakeholders Report into a project governing steering committee. Experience and skills: Project Management experience and expertise of software project s including development and testing within an agile / hybrid approach and management of 3rd party vendors. Commercial acumen, with government experience working with suppliers to drive quality performance. Work within an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office environment and delivering a project as part of a larger program. Have strong analytical capabilities including issue and risk identification and mitigation/resolution skills Be ‘hands-on’ and able to develop and maintain the Project Controls themselves (scheduling, risks, issues, budget, status reporting, etc.) Have high energy levels to be able to drive multiple streams of work concurrently Work well under pressure, with a proven ability to tightly manage complex set of streams to deliver to immovable dates Implementing controls within your project to ensure collective quality controls (e.g. testing at various levels) If you feel you meet our selection criteria, please submit your resume to Tito Tealdo at EITR via SEEK application or email titob@eitr.com.au / 0434418729
