Experiencing significant growth, they are expanding their Melbourne team and looking for a Process / Project Engineer to deliver capital projects and drive optimisation across complex food processing & packaging plants. Coming from a Food & Beverage background, you will bring proven expertise in streamlining operations, improving efficiency, diagnosing challenges, designing practical solutions and leading projects that deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage continuous improvement principles, identifying inefficiencies and recommending process enhancements. Lead and facilitate improvement projects to drive efficiency and reduce waste across manufacturing operations. Working autonomously and with project teams to manage the program of planned capital works. Delivering on end to end projects from initial stages to hand over and commissioning. Nurture and strengthen client relationships to understand and fulfil their requirements effectively. Your Background Qualified at a degree level in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering (required). Minimum 5-10 years experience working in Process / Project Engineering positions, within the FMCG environment. Strong knowledge of Project Management methodology and the ability manage, report on and execute complex capital projects. Expertise in Continuous Improvement / LEAN tools, with a track record of driving process improvements (Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus). Analytical Mindset & Commercial Acumen. Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, influence and engage a broad group of stakeholders. What’s on Offer?
