A well-established, globally connected consumer brand is seeking an experienced eCommerce Assistant Manager to help drive the performance, optimisation and ongoing evolution of its online channel. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes genuine ownership of the eCommerce customer journey from end to end. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance and continuous improvement of the online platform. Key responsibilities: • End-to-end management of the eCommerce website, ensuring products are accurately listed, well-merchandised and optimised for conversion • Owning the platform roadmap and working closely with developers on enhancements, upgrades and performance improvements • Driving site UX, navigation, up-sell and cross-sell initiatives to maximise customer experience and revenue • Planning and executing promotions, product launches and online campaigns • Analysing performance data and reporting on key metrics, with a focus on conversion, growth and optimisation • Leading, mentoring and supporting two direct reports within the eCommerce team • Partnering with internal teams across marketing, product, customer service and logistics • Liaising with global stakeholders to align with broader eCommerce strategy and best practice • Systems exposure including Magento (eCommerce platform) and SAP (ERP) • Ad-hoc interstate and overseas travel, with occasional after-hours meetings to align with global time zones About You: You’ll bring a strong blend of technical eCommerce capability, leadership experience and commercial thinking.
