About the Role You will provide comprehensive specialist obstetric and gynaecological care to a diverse regional population while contributing to leadership, teaching, and service development. You’ll join a supportive multidisciplinary team , including: Two Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists Three Registrars On-call support from four GP Obstetricians (GPOs) The service is an accredited training site for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) Associate Training Programs (Procedural & Advanced Procedural) and hosts medical students through the Rural Clinical School. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to junior medical staff Contribute to clinical governance, policy development, and quality improvement Participate in administrative leadership alongside the Clinical Nurse Specialist (Maternity) Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance regional service delivery Salary & Benefits Consultant Year 1–9: $412,161 – $523,436 p.a.
