Maintenance Electrician (Manufacturing Environment) Lilydale Based $57.84 an hour (inc loading) Fortnightly Allowance and Overtime Opportunities Permanent Full Time - Night Shift We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to work night shift at a large-scale manufacturing site in Lilydale. This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to a practical sparky who enjoys reactive maintenance and keeping production running. You will be the electrician, working alongside a Mechanical Fitter, supporting a high-volume site with multiple production lines operating overnight. The Role Provide reactive and preventative maintenance across operating production lines Maintain and fault-find industrial equipment including extruders, wire drawing and stranding machinery Work safely and autonomously during night operations Accurately record work using a simple Excel-based logbook system Identify faults, make equipment safe, and liaise with day-shift teams for follow-up work Support production continuity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment About You Electrical trade qualified (A grade license) Proven industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or heavy industry preferred) Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Safety-focused with a calm approach under pressure Reliable, practical, and able to make sound decisions on shift Good communication skills to ensure clear handovers to day crews This role would suit a night-shift electrician who enjoys autonomy, consistent hours, and solid earning potential without project pressure.
