You will have the opportunity to create delicious, well-balanced meals that cater to the unique dietary needs and preferences of our residents. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week:Tuesday: 9:00 to 15:00Wednesday: 9:30 to 14:30Thursday: 9:00 to 15:00Friday: 11:00 to 20:00Saturday: 14:30 to 21:00 Reporting to the Head Chef, your duties will include; Supporting the kitchen team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasking including meal preparation, service and cleaning of kitchen and dishes Supporting kitchen operations efficiently, including ordering and inventory control Function preparation EH&S regulation Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen Menu implementation and accommodating special dietary requirements Interacting with residents to gather feedback and adapt the menu accordingly About youYour proactive and customer-focused attitude will see you succeed in the role, as well as an ability to work autonomously to deliver professional outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key to your success in this role, as will: Relevant trade certificate or qualification in cookery or similar Demonstrated competence in a similar role Knowledge of dietary restrictions and the ability to adapt recipes to meet specific needs A dedication to food safety and hygiene Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks Highly motivated and able to take initiative Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one) Ready to Join the Fun?
