About the Role: Reporting to the EGM People and Culture and leading a team of 4 this is a hands- on delivery role implementing practical programs, tools and initiatives that support our leaders through change and achievement of the Organisation’s strategic objectives. You will provide oversight and quality assurance of learning design and delivery approaches, ensuring content is designed and delivered using targeted, contemporary formats. The role will engage People Leaders of employees, volunteers and members on initiatives that contribute to engagement, development and support a positive and values-aligned organisational culture. Key Responsibilities include: Lead, develop and support the team of specialists focussed on learning, capability and inclusion and setting clear priorities on delivery expectations. Translate agreed People and Culture priorities into practical organisational development and capability initiatives aligned to the Society’s strategy. Ensure learning pathways support workforce capability aligned to organisational priorities. Partner with People and Culture colleagues to embed development, performance and succession practices. Establish and apply evaluation methods to understand impact of learning approaches, capability initiatives and organisational development programs refining delivery based on evidence and feedback. Support delivery of diversity, equity and inclusion the strengthen the values and mission of the Society. Partner with People Leaders, building strong relationships and ability to influence leaders to own and embed change within their areas of responsibility. Demonstrate alignment to the mission and ethos of the Society in day-to-day work. Support the organisations Wellbeing initiatives and workplace practices provide a safe place to work across the organisation. About You: You will have proven experience in leading small specialist teams in delivering organisational development, learning and capability programs in complex environments. You will also have supported organisational change through practical engagement, communication and implementation approaches. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to: translate strategic priorities into practical, implementable programs and tools; design, coordinate and deliver learning capability initiatives; analyse people, learning and engagement data and apply insights to improve delivery outcomes. As an effective leader and manager, you will have high emotional intelligence, adaptability and collaborative working style to support your ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders across the organisation We also prefer Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or related field. Experience in a not-for-profit organisation (not essential). Strong computer literacy coupled with excellent written and communication skills.
