The Role This is a full-time hybrid role for a Creative Strategist / Digital Strategist, based in Cremorne, VIC, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The role involves developing creative and digital strategies, overseeing brand and campaign initiatives, and collaborating with the creative team to deliver innovative and impactful content. Key responsibilities include market research, creating strategic content, providing creative direction, and ensuring brand alignment across all channels. Collaborate closely with the Digital Strategist team to own end-to-end paid social creative strategy across a portfolio of clients, ensuring creative output is aligned with budgets, testing cadence, placements, audience intent, and funnel stage. Translate client business objectives into a clear creative approach, defining messaging frameworks, angles, offers, hooks, formats, and content styles. Create clear, structured creative briefs that streamline production and enable consistent, high-quality creative output. Lead initiatives including; account kickoffs, new product launches, promotional campaigns, and evergreen growth. Build, maintain, and evolve creative roadmaps and rolling testing plan per client, moving from concept → hypothesis → execution → testing → iteration. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor creative strategies, and platform updates, proactively incorporating relevant learnings into client strategies. What we are looking for: 2 years’ experience working in a creative, performance, or paid social role within a digital agency or in-house environment, ideally supporting eCommerce brands. Strong fluency in interpreting creative performance metrics across static, video, and UGC-style ads, with the ability to diagnose issues. A solid understanding of paid social platforms, particularly Meta and TikTok, with a focus on how creative drives performance across placements, formats, and funnel stages. Demonstrated experience working hands-on with client strategies, confidently translating business goals into actionable creative direction and recommendations. A passion for high-performing creative, with the ability to develop compelling angles, hooks, and narratives—and, where needed, write or guide impactful ad scripts. A test-and-learn mindset, comfortable forming hypotheses, running experiments, and iterating quickly based on results rather than assumptions. A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to take ownership, solve problems, and continuously up-skill in a fast-moving digital landscape. Strong project and time management skills, able to juggle multiple clients, testing roadmaps, and creative timelines without sacrificing quality.
