Job Details 5 Day Nanny Educator (15741) Maxwelton (Live in) 5 days per week with children aged 11 years, 10 years, 8 years & 4 years Rate: $36.86 - $38.08 (L2) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf) Monday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Tuesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Wednesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm This family would like: A busy and welcoming family of six, located 30 minutes from Richmond, QLD, is looking for a live-in Educator to join their rural property and support the learning and development of their four children. The role will primarily involve caring for their four-year-old during the day, while also assisting the older children outside of their School of the Air hours. The family owns and operates a Feed and Grain business and leads an active, outdoor lifestyle with interests including water skiing, nature, motorbikes, football, netball, music, and singing. They’re looking for an Educator who’s a natural communicator and genuinely passionate about helping children grow. Supporting their learning, emotional regulation, and daily routines in a home-based setting. The right person will have solid experience working with school-aged children in remote areas and be a bit of a legend when it comes to guiding little ones with mild anxiety or tricky behaviours. The position offers a private bedroom and shared access to kitchen and bathroom facilities. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to engage with the local community and participate in events such as races, rodeos, and gatherings with other educators. An opportunity to pick up extra working hours between 9am and 1pm via private negotiation directly with the family. This may be but not limited to yard work, cooking or assisting with online schooling etc. You must: - Not essential, but preferable to have or be working towards getting your Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care or have a relevant higher education - Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references. - Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid - Have a car & driver's licence - Be willing to commit for at least 12 months - Full working rights in Australia.
