To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in project management within the commercial sector, including expertise in managing end-to-end delivery of building upgrades, refurbishments, and fit-outs, while effectively minimizing disruption in live working environments. Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or significant professional experience in associated disciplines. A strong background in planning, cost management, program management, stakeholder management and ESG-compliant project management. Reporting to the Head of Projects, this fixed-term, Project Manager role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in Cromwell Property Group’s investment in its portfolio through the strategic delivery of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects. You will be responsible for applying robust project management principles to maximise value for Cromwell and its stakeholders by ensuring the successful planning and delivery of projects under management. This is a full-time role; however, we are open part-time or flexible arrangements for the right person. In addition to project delivery, you will help shape the sustainability of the portfolio by embedding WHS, ESG, and energy efficiency objectives into CAPEX initiatives, contributing directly to Cromwell’s long-term environmental and social impact goals. This is an ideal role for a project management professional seeking to broaden their experience within a property investment business, with opportunities to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and develop a deep understanding of how strategic capital works drive investment outcomes. Some key areas of the role will include: Representing Cromwell in overall project management, overseeing delivery from initiation to completion, and that consultants and contractors deliver the project in accordance with the scope of work Collaborating with design teams, contractors, and Property, Leasing, and Facilities Managers to implement construction and stakeholder management plans, ensuring minimal disruption. Preparing project recommendations, CAPEX submissions, and approvals while maintaining accurate financial information and ensuring compliance with Cromwell’s project management procedures, including contractor adherence, programme management, and financial forecasting accuracy. Driving WHS and sustainability initiatives through compliance with Cromwell’s Safety, Sustainability and ESG objectives. Managing all phases of the project including consultants appointments, design development, authorities approvals, tender stages, construction progress and defects liability period ensuring Managing comprehensive contract administration processes, including contract execution, claims management, extensions of time and governance compliance. Providing updates and reports to senior management, ensuring project transparency and alignment with strategic goals. Reviewing tenant fit-out applications and assessing risk to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Developing detailed scopes of work and procuring consultant services for technical due diligence in asset acquisitions or divestments.
