Senior Associate, Engagement Join Office of the 24 Hour Economy Commissioner, a division of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $129,464 - $142,665 per annum plus superannuation Ongoing role based in Sydney CBD About the role The Senior Associate, Engagement assists in managing and coordinating a program of external activities to drive interest and engagement with the policy program under the Vibrancy Reforms and other initiatives of the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner, supporting their expansion across NSW. You will establish and develop strong, productive relationships with external stakeholders, including local councils, industry, and the community sector, to maximise and drive engagement opportunities in support of the Office’s key priorities, including opportunities to educate and empower stakeholders about the Vibrancy Reforms. Additionally, you will contribute to the shaping of program and project objectives in consultation with the Associate Director, Communications & Engagement. Key responsibilities include supporting engagement and communications planning and delivery activities, providing project planning and implementation, managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing procurement processes, and preparing high-quality correspondence and reports. The role also involves developing and monitoring systems for stakeholder engagement activity reporting and collaborating with the Content and Events Operations teams to produce communications and implement a range of events that support the Office’s objectives. About You You have extensive experience in leading engagement programs, with a thorough understanding of local government and industries relevant to the night-time economy, such as hospitality, entertainment, and retail. You possess experience and knowledge of NSW Public Sector policies, regulatory, legislative, and statutory requirements related to the administration, management, governance, and reporting of government programs. You are proficient in using CRM systems and databases for reporting on progress and outcomes against project plans. You excel in achieving project deadlines and milestones to the required standards and within budget, despite the challenges of coordinating and delivering multiple complex and interconnected projects. You have the demonstrated ability to adeptly manage contentious issues arising from engagement initiatives and create productive forums to resolve long-standing community issues. You will ensure effective engagement with a large and diverse range of stakeholders involved in the activities of the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner.
