What you’ll be working on Planning and designing test approaches, data, and environments Creating and executing test plans and scripts with strong functional coverage Managing test data and validating outcomes against expectations Logging, analysing, and tracking defects through to resolution Partnering with developers to investigate issues and improve quality Producing clear test status and completion reports Coordinating testing schedules to maximise efficiency Performing usability and non-functional testing, including performance, reliability, scalability, and security Supporting internal quality standards and continuous improvement What will help you be successful? You take pride in finding issues before customers do. You’re analytical, thorough, and comfortable owning problems through to resolution. You work well under pressure and adapt easily as priorities change. You’ll bring: 5 years’ experience as a QA or Test Engineer on medium to large IT projects Strong manual testing experience, ideally within financial services Experience with Jira, Git, and API testing Testing experience across backend services and web-based UIs Confidence working in Agile, fast-release environments Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting Experience with test automation, ISTQB certification, AWS, or trading platforms will be highly regarded.
