We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for our Military Aviation sales team to lead a team of three Sales Account Executives in our Asia-Pacific (APAC) Sales Region. Software sales experience to a regional government is a requirement. Territory coverage of South Asia, East Asia, Oceania, and Maritime Southeast Asia; with specific emphasis on major accounts in India, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. The team is organized in a hybrid model of direct and indirect sales to government end-users, supported by presales engineers and customer success managers. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support three direct reports, providing guidance, performance management, and ongoing development support Oversee territory sales campaigns from conception to close. Closely coordinate with a cross-functional team of professionals providing market/business intelligence, sales enablement, revenue operations, channel sales, and Go-to-Market expertise Set and maintain a high degree of integrity and performance. Lead by example; inspect what you expect from your team Drive sales pipeline generation and accurately forecast opportunities in Salesforce Leverage MEDDPICC and Close Plans to score and evaluate opportunities and win business Utilize Tableau reports to perform analyses, recognize trends, and report performance Submit a written weekly summary, monthly regional performance update, and quarterly business review to company executives. Attend monthly meetings with product and service portfolio leaders Plan and execute an annual training session during a company-wide sales kickoff conference Research and analyze information about global military aviation trends and competitors to enhance our competitive position. Establish a broad network of contacts to address customer needs and maintain open lines of communication Provide professional guidance and career mentorship to teammates Perform administrative functions of a manager, including onboarding, expense report approvals, training compliance, etc Approve proposals containing Jeppesen ForeFlight solutions Basic Qualifications: 10 years of experience in B2B and/or B2G sales management, preferably in aviation and/or software-related fields Demonstrated sustained, superior sales performance and revenue growth history Experience working with aerospace and defense technology Proven ability to develop ongoing customer relationships and a passion for selling software and technology products Strong persuasive and influencing skills Prior experience in the aviation industry, flight planning, or military is a major plus Experience with Salesforce CRM desired Excellent executive presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of marketing and sales promotion techniques Experience selling to regional governments, particularly Ministries of Defense Willingness to work a flexible schedule and moderate domestic and international travel Preferred Qualifications: A college or university degree in business, marketing, aerospace, or a related field Prior experience in the aviation industry, flight planning, or military is a major plus About Jeppesen ForeFlight: Jeppesen ForeFlight is a leading provider of innovative aviation software solutions, serving the Commercial, Business, Military, and General Aviation sectors globally.
