In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between high-level maintenance strategy and front-line execution. Supporting the ARH (Aussie Tiger) Platform, you will ensure our maintenance outcomes meet the rigorous standards of the Australian Defence Force while driving service delivery excellence. About the role Reporting to the Team Lead Aircraft Line Maintenance, you will be a key driver of the Darwin and 1st Aviation Regiment Unit Maintenance Plan (UMP). Your mission is to provide the technical backbone for our maintenance teams, ensuring every scheduled and unscheduled requirement is met with precision. Associated responsibilities include: Technical Leadership: Lead maintenance teams to deliver contracted outcomes, focusing on availability and Rate of Effort (ROE) targets. Planning & Enablement: Maintain the Maintenance Planning Enablement Tool (MPET) and UMP to ensure seamless service delivery. Regulatory Compliance: Act as a champion for DASR Part 145 and Part M compliance, ensuring all technical airworthiness standards are met. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a critical link between maintenance, support engineering, and the customer to identify requirements and maintain high satisfaction levels. Process Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of departmental processes, leveraging LEAN practices and risk-based thinking. About you We are looking for a leader who balances deep technical expertise with the interpersonal skills required to motivate a high-performing team Essential Criteria: Experience: Minimum 5 years of technical or maintenance management experience in the aviation industry. Technical Knowledge: Extensive background in maintenance management systems, including CAMM2, and a sound understanding of the interdependencies between supply chain and engineering. Education: A Diploma in Aeroskills or an Aviation Maintenance License (B or C level LAME/MAML). Leadership: Proven ability to lead a united team, resolve service issues, and clear "roadblocks" to empower your staff. Communication: A confident and open communicator who can convey complex technical messages persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders. Other Requirements: Must be eligible for Australian Defence Force Security Clearance. Ability to work shift rosters as required.
