About us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community. The Drug Court is a statutory division of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and forms part of MCV Specialist Courts and Programs. It provides an alternative sentencing option for offenders with drug and/or alcohol dependency whose offending is linked to substance use. The Drug Court administers Drug and Alcohol Treatment Orders (DATO) under the Sentencing Act 1991, delivering a judicially supervised, therapeutic and intensive treatment program. The program supports participants to address substance dependency and related issues, including physical and mental health, housing, education and employment, and family and social relationships. About the Role Based at the Therapeutic Recovery Centre (TRC) and reporting to the Shepparton Drug Court Operations Manager, the Administration Coordinator provides a range of administrative support to enable the effective daily operation of the Drug Court which includes reception services, data entry, accurate record‑keeping, and assistance with program facilitation. In this role, you will: Coordinate reception services and provide administrative support for Drug Court programs Monitor, record and manage the attendance of Drug Court participants, including participant testing information and results, while maintaining strict confidentiality in a sensitive environment Develop and maintain resource manuals, spreadsheets and accurate records Build and maintain effective working relationships with the judiciary, Drug Court staff, security staff, registry staff and program teams Communicate effectively with Drug Court participants and key internal and external stakeholders, while delivering administrative support across both the TRC and the Drug Court.
